Dr. Rob’s Prostate Protective Smoothie
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of pomegranate juice
4 ice cubes
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of raspberries
1/2 cup of strawberries
1 scoop of blended protein powder…my favorite is Beverly UMP vanilla!
1/4 tsp of green tea powder
1/4 tsp of cinnamon

Ladies!  7 foods to incorporate into your man’s diet to decrease his risk of Prostate Cancer. Some of these foods in studies have been shown to decrease PSA levels by 50% in men with stage iv prostate cancer!

*Cruciferous Vegetables!  One study found that men who ate broccoli or cauliflower lowered their odds of prostate cancer by 41%

*Tomatoes!  A Harvard study demonstrated that men who ate tomato-based foods had a decreased risk of prostate cancer by 35%!

*Pomegranate Juice!  Men with existing prostate cancer who drank pomegranate juice had slowed tumor progression and their PSA’s stayed lower 4x’s as long!

*Fish!  A clinical study demonstrated that men who ate at least one to two servings of fish per week had a 63% lower risk of developing prostate cancer!

*Green Tea!  An Italian study demonstrated that men who took 200mg green tea capsules 3 times daily had reduced their risk of developing prostate cancer by 90%!

*Selenium!  A Stanford University study revealed having 200mcg of selenium daily decreases the odds of having prostate cancer almost 5 fold!

*Citrus fruits and apples–modified citrus pectin!  A diet rich in fruit and vegetables, which provide high fiber, has demonstrated in men to decrease the risk of Prostate Cancer!
