The goal of healthful living is to enhance ones life with increased vitality and to achieve optimum health so as to have a high quality of life starting early on in your 30’s that carries you well into your 40’s 50’s 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond.  It is around the age of about 45 that the quality of life and health begin to peak out.  From this point forward there is a slow gradual decline, for some there is a rapid decline leading to death.  But, what if you could slow that decline and bring it to an absolute crawl so as to maintain a high quality of life while you age gracefully with great strength, endurance, and vitality.  This is entirely possible by maintaining the very foundational principles of human health and existence.  Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Rest and Recovery.  Dr. Rob’s N.E.W.R. It is very likely that within the next 15 to 20 years medical science will have progressed far enough to enable human beings to live an additional 10 to 15 years.  But, only if you are healthy enough to take advantage of all the health and longevity advances that are sure to come our way.  And in order to take advantage of these breakthroughs you will have to have a healthy heart, a strong cardiovascular system, strong lean healthy muscle and bones, controlled cholesterol levels, optimized hormones, and tailored supplementation.

All of this is possible and with in your immediate reach to create for yourself the best possible chance of living a quality life well into your 90’s and beyond.  I am truly excited for what lies ahead for us.  It was Hippocrates that said, “Let food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be food.”  It is time for us to come full circle.

Aging is inevitable, but there is no reason to surrender to a poor quality of life or old age. Healthy habits in eating, exercise, socialization with family and friends and pursuing your passions are the aids to growing older with class. The key for human existence is “Moderation in all things.”

As a physician that specializes in male hormone optimization, I have witnessed first hand the true power of healthful living and the intelligent optimization of male hormones and the profound effects on individual patients lives. And I am grateful for my mentors Dr. Jeffry Life and Dr. Jeffrey Leake who have through their passionate pursuit of empowering male health and fitness have inspired me to seek where our next  true potential lies.  This is truly an exciting time for men’s health and fitness.
